VENETO NEW YEAR

On Sunday February 28 at 2:30 pm we await your presence at the Le Pignole wine shop in Brendola (VI), together with the other Villa companies. The occasion is the celebration of the Veneto New Year, and the event is in favour of the Francesco Rava Foundation, to support the aide projects for the children, victims of the earthquake in Haiti.

There is a program in the works for entertaining the little ones as well, with activities such as rides in horse-drawn carriages, face-painting by make-up artists dressed as clowns and making balloon sculptures. And open to everyone there will be exhibitions by the Lessinia trombini (a traditional folkloristic group that takes its name from the strange-looking, heavy and totally inoffensive antique firearms they use, trombini, in fact), dance choreography performed by anguane (legendary sensual and alluring female-like beings) and in conclusion a huge bonfire in the vineyard to do homage to winter. During the whole afternoon we will be offering the possibility of tasting of pre-eminent Vicentine products from the Villa Group – Vicenza Luxury Labels.

Admission is free. There will be the opportunity to make a donation in favour of the children who are victims of the earthquake in Haiti. We are waiting for you!
