Once upon a time in Rome

Today we want to tell you a story, the story of our distillery and the wine shops of Rome.

It was during the Eighties, when, Paolo Brunello first brought products from the family distillery to the best wine shops of Rome. Traditional Vicentine grappa begins to make a name for itself among the Roman clientele. During that same period of time there was also a senator from the Veneto who personally chose Brunello grappas as gifts for his parliamentary friends back then. In this way, slowly but surely, the name of our distillery came to be recognized, so much that Il Tempo dedicated a wonderful article citing an exhortation by Giandomenico Brunello to “never serve it cold”. However, this began a period of ups and downs. But without ever losing heart, after a brief period of uncertainly, we reached a new agreement with one of the oldest representative agencies in the capital, the Salvini Agency. And thus, thanks to them, on tiptoe, but with lots of enthusiasm, we are moving back into the best wine shops. Like the Enoteca Buccone. For this shop they’ve chosen: Grappa La Scura aged 12 months, Grappa di moscato fior d’arancio (orange flower Muscat), Grappa di Amarone. Fantastic recognition for us.
